Marshae was considered one of the best undersized collegiate post players in the country, a strong force in the paint. She was 2009 1st Team All-Southeastern Conference (coaches) and a 2nd Team selection by the media, voted 2007-08 1st Team All-SEC by the league’s coaches and a 2nd Team selection by the media. 2006-07 2nd Team All-SEC performer (coaches) and Associated Press All-SEC Honorable Mention team selection. 2006 SEC All-Freshman Team and was UF’s leading rebounder each of her last three years while earning a spot on the 2007 and 2008 SEC Academic Honor Roll and 2006 SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll. In UF’s CAREER record book, Dotson was No. 2 for field goal percentage (55.5%), No.10 scoring (1,529), No. 9 rebounds (854), No. 9 made field goals (598), No. 5 made free throws (333), No. 5 free throw attempted (499), No. 4 games played (126).
