As a proud 1978 Linden McKinley High School graduate, Don played on the Panthers’ 1976 State Semi-final and 1977 State Title Teams, with Ohio Player of the year, Todd Penn. He has been a well respected NBA Scout/Evaluator for Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, Portland Trailblazers, and San Antonio Spurs. Sellers has Coached overseas professional teams for, Chinese Basketball Association, Lebanese Basketball Association, Hong Kong National team, and served as Director of USA player personnel in Beirut, Lebanon, has won (3) USA minor league title Championships, (2) Rochester Razor Backs 2008/2016, (1) Continental Basketball Association, Yakima Sun Kings 1998, and (1) CNBA Championship, Changahuan Tigers. Served as Director of Player Development/Head Coach for The Harlem Globetrotters Organization. Don currently is an independent consultant/Evaluator and conducts coach’s clinics. Don has remained a staunch advocate for the Linden McKinley HS athletics program and has often lent a hand, in a advisory capacity, to the coaching staffs, primarily basketball and football. He has shared his technical knowledge and has encouraged the young athletes at practices, before games and during halftime breaks. He has also enlisted the aid of his wide network in all phases of athletic disciplines.
